Part of Mountain Logic’s mission is to reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions coming from homes.

Research shows that most homeowners want to do something to help the environment, but often do not know what it is they can do. Saving energy is a good first step. U.S. homes consume almost 25 percent of all U.S. energy each year, and the energy used in U.S. homes for essential needs (heating, cooling, hot water and lights) alone accounts for 4.6 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions.

If just half of U.S. homes installed Mountain Logic’s home energy control system, global green house gas emissions would be reduced by 1 percent.
